The 1909-S is down. It had the mushy, discolored look of fake Civil War tokens that were coming from Eastern Europe last year. I see that this seller sold another counterfeit in months past that resulted in neutral feedback.

Take a look at this 1919-D half he's now selling. Looks like another fake to me ...

The half dollar is clearly a fake.

Too bad there isn't a way to contact all the 1909-s buyers.

The fake 1919-D half is gone.

Yes, it surely is. Back when I first got on ebay, I was able to contact bidders and warn them about fakes. Two of my more memorable saves were on Bust Dollars that had escalated into four figures. One of the sales got stopped, and the other resulted in a tangle when it closed, but the buyer was eventually saved.

Thanks, Raymo. I was surprised to see how fast the 19-D went down, following my report. Perhaps, there were prior reports, too.

Given what we've seen, watchful eyes do appear to be in order. IMHO, seeing fellow numismatists working toward the betterment of the hobby is the most worthwhile aspect of the CCF.

It's a counterfeit. Not the worst I've ever seen, but still a C/F, as others have said.
