Looks like a VAM-1 but the close up is inconclusive.

So what other pictures can I take to get a better idea?

Any signs of a seam on the rim? How about a few close-ups of the rim? What does it weigh? What is the diameter?
I'm sure you realize this is a $3000-$4000 coin if genuine and while nothing screams fake in the images it absolutely has to have professional, in-hand authentication to know for sure.

When a Morgan is fresh from the mint it should weigh 26.73 grams, or close to it. Yours might weigh a little less because of the wear.

Scroll down to the close up of the RT in the attached link. There is only one obverse die for the 1893-S Morgan so all authentic examples should have these die markers. http://www.vamworld.com/1893-S+VAMs

If you see the die markers in the link Dave provided you NEED to have it express graded to both ensure a quick sale and lend credibility to authenticity. Its well worth the cost and you will make it up by a stronger price and quicker sale

I would never buy this coin raw but since you already did, it needs to go to PCGS or NGC for authentication.

Cool. Make sure you pay up for exress or it will be stuck there for a month or two. Express you should get it back in under a week

Why are the denticles more worn/squashed on the obverse than on the reverse?
