I'd say it's real, as the "1" in 1893 is over a denticle.

If you could post a picture of the R in LIBERTY, that would be great. There should be a couple die chips in the foot. These are affectionately called the "bunny ears."

Why not just send it in for certification (NGC, etc.). If this coin is real, it's worth thousands of dollars.
I'd think it would get a lot more bids as a certified coin.

Where and how much? Reputable dealer or ebay? Where did it ship from? Did it pass the weight test? How does it compare in thickness to a genuine Morgan? I have one on my desk I know is fake but it looks fine. Just s little too thick

I bought it from an older lady not a dealer. I may send it in but I'm not able to wait 30 days for the coin to be returned to us from a 3rd party. I've been considering having it over night graded but the cost is high. I just want to sell it quick I have a lot of money wrapped up in it. I'm a new business owner so having capitol tied up is always a pain in the butt.

Looks like a VAM-1 but the close up is inconclusive.

Any signs of a seam on the rim? How about a few close-ups of the rim? What does it weigh? What is the diameter?
I'm sure you realize this is a $3000-$4000 coin if genuine and while nothing screams fake in the images it absolutely has to have professional, in-hand authentication to know for sure.
