Quote:Assuming, of course, he even has any certified Eisenhower dollars in the first place, that is... By the way, I also want to show the reverses using the same template in the same locations. I want the dates, mint marks, and types labeled for the reverses too. Whatcha think?

Here's a cropped "close-up" portion. As you can see it's pretty large, and this was still downsized/resized by photobucket.

I'm a little further along now . . . . I'm really starting to like this digital approach. It just adds to the many ways you can enjoy your collection.

Advantages: - You can mix slabbed and raw coins in the same album. - You can show both the obverse and reverse side-by-side on the same page. - You can store the better coins in a safe deposit box in a bank vault. - You use the same coins in more than one virtual album at the same time. - You can squeeze more coins on a page than you can with a real normal-sized album. - For a type collection or other collection with varied coins, you can arrange them anyway you want.

Pretty cool idea. Building my camera booth right now and virtual album might be the next move.

Quote: WHat program did you use to create the digital album? And can I get a copy of your template? I used Photoshop CS5, and yes, you can have a copy of the template. Send me a PM with your e-mail address. I'll have to send it as an attachment. It's HUGE!

Fantastic!
Ever since I saw BarryG's digital type set, I've wanted to create digital albums for my sets. I also have a mix of slabbed and raw coins and these are a great way to showcase them.
While there are plenty of internet search results for digital albums, they are mostly links to PCGS and not instructional. I have never been able to find the instructions/templates to do this.
Would someone be open to creating a how-to tutorial for us forum members who are technically challenged? Or just a point in the right direction? The threads on photography have been extremely helpful.
Thanks,
