Sorry. I meant the side with the bust on it. If it is a collectable, the letters on USA or Quarter Dollar might show some weakness.
Anybody-Think-This-Is-Worth-Holding-On-To?
Note the weakness on the opposite side of the coin because of the miss alignment of the strike. (note illustration) You coin was probably with a setup different than the cent. The hammer die is the reverse on your coin, the anvil die is the obverse. On the example posted it is just the opposite setup. The weakness on the obverse is what I'm looking for.

The images are too small to see anything from them. But I would think the area affected should be the SW quadrant area. That is where I would look.

OK third times the charm!

Based on these pictures, what would something like this be worth?

I believe the weakness on the obverse should be in the NW quadrant.

You might be correct. It looks like the rim is altering a bit on UNITED. Lets see the same shot of the NW quadrant.

Not exactly what I was hoping to see, but you can see where the MAD was so sever that it altered the outside rim area. I would call that one a keeper. thanks for the extra images.

Depending on the buyer. How bad he wants it. Some do collect just error coins and this one fits the bill.
