Just received a few days ago OGP 2026 Silver Proof Set and noticed that the reverse of the Washington quarter has a very distinct line that appears to run from the left (9 o'clock) side to the right under the "E" of "United" then in an upward direction across the field ending in a very small loop about midway between the devices. Just wondering if this instance could be considered a "mint error" and have any additional value? Thanks for all the help. This is my first post BTW.
Re: My recent post 2026 Silver Proof Washington quarter I apologize for the poor quality photo but best I can do at the moment. I have examined this coin in it's OGP and the line shown in the photo is not on the capsule. Under better magnification it is evident that the line does not cross the letter as the surface of the letter is not disturbed in any way. Thanks again for any assistance in discussing this coin. I first considered returning it to the mint but decided better one in hand than none at all. (lol)
