As another member stated, I don't mean to belittle your purchase, but this could be had in the U.S. for $25.

If you are going to buy US coins, buy a Red Book price guide as it will give you ball park retail price of a coin and other coin information. on low end coins, check ebay under sold for latest prices. On high end coins check auction realized prices on NGC Coin Explorer or PCGS Coin Facts

RedBook is a good guide as mentioned above. They tend to run on the high side, but that may actually be somewhat accurate where you are if US coins are harder to come by. I really like the PCGS price guide app for my phone. It has the same issue as RedBook in running somewhat high, but it is VERY convenient since it is a smart phone app and has prices for every US coin in more grades than what RedBook shows.

The best single price guide also takes the most work, ebay. You need to make sure you search sold items not ones for sale though as you want the actual prices something is selling for (not just what is being asked).

I would suggest against using PCGS app to get price points with for 2 reasons:
1) Unless you are buying PCGS graded coins, you will be making assumptions about the grade and therefore the price.
2) The prices are on the higher end.
Use the ebay app to find similar items that sold and see what they went for.
