You right, CC-Ottawa.

Due to this, people usually say, that they don't understand, why RCM charges near to CAD 80 for 1oz Bullion SML replica coin.
If it Replica - it is still bullion.

So, anyway, 2 oz SML hits the ebay.
BIN price CAD 199 with Free Shipping.
To get at Mario store.

If we crossing here bullion world, just got mail from APMEX with alert of Silver continuously goes down, and already below USD 17 per 1oz
, and:

2017 QB "The Griffin" coin is out.
Amazing one, imo. Same level as "The Lion".
Hopefully TCS will have them and hopefully with capsules.

"Replica" SMLs never do very well on the secondary market since many collectors are reluctant to pay up to 5x the price of real SMLs.

Not surprised that the RCM came ups with a 150th Anniversary of Canada themed SML. I am sure there will be tons of 150th related coins to come. Surely there will be some link to the 150th anniversary for fractional SMLs coming soon. Or a 150th anniversary privy for the SML.

This is for sure.
We have official Anniversary logo, so nothing prevents it to be appear as Privy Mark on some 2017 SMLs

2017 - Zodiac Series #1 - Capricorn - $3 Pure Silver Coin Swarovski Crystal

This is something new, the level is similar to Birthstone coins.

Not possible to get via the Mint (at least I didn't see it there)

To see the design, order the coin and might be some other items - check out Coin 4 Fun store....

It was not even December yet and the Mint is already rolling out the 2nd coin in the 10 oz "Sculpture of Majestic Canadian Animals" series. Shipment date is February!

This one is the Cougar, somehow it is available for all to order, not just MC. Here is a pic:
November-Releases-Are-Here!!-Wow.-Wow.

With the belly of the cougar touching the ground, it looks a bit messy to me.

It looks very rough.

I'm also curious, at what point do we do we draw the line between a coin and a sculpture?

Per our understanding - this is coin-like sculpture.
Mint tries to advertise it as a coin.

But probably, we should send some of our spares (instead of immediate flipping) to the grading company, to see, will be the coins accepted.

As long as they're being paid, I think the grading companies would grade your finger nail clipping.

Not a fingernail but a real nail with a dime struck on it was graded by PCGS.

Here is a cent on another nail.

These nails are quite pricey.

These are nice..nails, I mean.

Do not believe in accidental strike.
I think, the employee(s) by someone request did it one time only, in order not to be suspected and not "overproduce" the unique item.

this reminds me the childhood, when we used to put on the railway track small coins. Too bad I had no clue that time about "error" coins.

While I'm a fan of unique coins, I think the mint is inching towards a "JUMP THE SHARK" release.

"inching toward"? The mint vaulted over that Great White years ago.

@TomSwift

Maybe, but I think the "JUMP THE SHARK" moment will be disruptive, embarrassing to the mint and will change the course of coin releases.
