The look like rolls from the 70's. It wouldve been better if you kept it the way it was IMO

I would look through them for any high grade and put those in 2x2's. Also look for errors and varieties,if any put those in 2x2's. Nice find.

As others have already stated, proofs from this year will have the "S" mintmark. They do look really nice and you might want to check them for varieties if you are interested in those.

As far as I can remember at the moment, Denver has never issued a proof coin.

I'm sure they have with all of the commemoratives and special sets. But I can't remember any specific issues either.

Looks like you picked up a few OBW rolls ( solid date ) 1974-D . They should all be uncirculated .

to the forum!

Proof is not a grade but a type of coin made with special polished dies. They are not released for circulation, but sold to collectors by the mint.

Mint State (MS) coins are regular business strike coins issued for circulation that are still in the same condition they were when they left the mint, some collectors refer to these as "uncirculated".

Always nice to pickup nice BU rolls.

I can't think of a Denver proof ....

Suggestion .. look for a cheap proof set, so you can compare proof to
business strike coins.

Yep, I don't believe denver ever made anything proof wise. San Francisco, Philadelphia, and New Orleans have, however.

(There's an 1891-O Seated dime on ebay that's a PR-66 that I didn't even know existed until a few days ago)
