This is an old story. The spots appeared after slabbing because of the chemical wash used at the mint. That's what I remember, anyway.

This MAY have been a PR70 when graded but it certainly isn't a 70 now and definitely not worth any sort of premium.

Isn't a PR70 a technical grade? If so it is still a PR70 but it does have milk spots which takes away the eye appeal. I do believe the spots can appear after slabbing.

BTW not my first certified just the first one made in my lifetime (I'm 55)

I do have Morgans, Barbers, Trade dollars, etc

The smallest imperfection will preclude a 70 grade, That includes Milk Spots.

That's what I thought 70's were supposed to be as perfect as was technically possible.
