$148 worth of pennies!

It's probably cheaper than canvas and paint.

I wanted to tile my office floor with pennies, coated in thick layers of resin but the wife nixed that idea.

A buddy of mine recently tiled his bathroom floor that way, peppered with hundreds of wheats too. Looks cool!

When I was a kid back in the early 1950`s in Iowa our local drug store owner had the basement of the store inlayed with Mexican silver peso dollar size coins cemented into the floor. We used to go into the store after our paper routes and have a soda or malt. I was neat for us kids for him to allow us to admire all those coins. Several hundred from 1800`s early 1900`s.

I definately like anyone who makes something like this, but I definately hate anyone who cleans their coins like that.

I prefer this portrait to a Campbell soup can, frankly.

At least the coins they cleaned are just common pocket change.

I will admit, the end result does look pretty cool.
