Ross! You might pick up a " Red Book" on Amazon or at a coin shop. Highly recommended to help you with the collection.

to CCF! I sincerely hope, and by the looks of it this is the case, that your acquired collection has been treated better than mine. Does it include any world coins?

@ spruet001. I take that back, I found some canadian, korean and brazilian coins as well. Also, I found this nickel hidden in one of the coin rolls that I still going through and was wondering if it was manually cut or maybe a mint error? first time noticing something like this. I am still learning so any help would be great.

I definitely got a lot of Canadian coins, but so far no Korean or Brazilian. It's just been fun for me to research Asian coins because I have NO idea what it says and they often don't use Arabic numerals (and some of them can be quite valuable).
I don't have enough expertise to label that Jefferson. I suggest posting it in the Modern Variety & Error section.

Oh, and nice pics! I'm still experimenting with that (and probably will be for a while).

Thanks Spruett001. Yes. I will post in modern variety and error Section. I finally figured out where to post my questions under the correct thread.

Here's some advice on sorting your coins faster and easier, though it really depends on your preference. You could use a Ryedale coin sorter, which you can buy for $500, and it can sort out the copper pennies very quickly. The machine is good for sorting out copper pennies, silver War Nickels, silver dimes, quarters, halves, etc. but the disadvantage is that the machine cannot sort out error coins and other coins that you might want to keep. The Ryedale coin sorter is recommended only if you are only trying to collect copper pennies for their copper value, or silver dimes, quarters, halves, for their silver value.
