Looks like a 1993. Either way, it wouldn't have been worth much of anything with that obverse. At least, not to me.

It's a 93. Note the arrows added to your closeup (very good BTW) you can see the tail of the 3 and faint outline of lower curve, $.01 spend it fast!

It's a 1993. A+ on the pictures, F for the condition (and I don't mean fine!)

The top of the 3 is flatter than the 2. It is a 1993 with a normal reverse.

Thank goodness for that. I think one of the members here mentioned on the forum awhile back. That he did not even look at the bad coins for fear of finding a Great Coin that was worth face value in the end. I can definitely relate to this now seeing how this could have been one of the big ones.

When I find a coin like that in circulation, I toss it back into circulation. With the damage, the coin is only worth on cent. I don't waste the time and brain power on them.

If it was a 1992 D CAM it would have been worth certifying even in that condition, when a coin is as sought after and as rare as that one is, its still worth it. AU examples go for thousands and a details graded example went on heritage in 2014 for over $800. I would suspect that if this had indeed been a 92d cam it would have gone for a few hundred dollars at least at auction, but only if it was certified as such given its dismal state.

Coop, I hope your wife gets better soon. Out of the hospital is a plus though, right?
As for the coin. I'm agreeing with the 1993 consensus. Note also that the left notch of the three ends higher than the left notch of the two. That's what did it for me, but I'm glad you guys pointed out the flatter top of the numeral.
