I should ha e went out to the shop and got the dremel tool. Use that to cut the edeges...
I ended up just taking a good pair of pleyers and cracking away the edeges until I could slide the coin out.

That's a lot of lovely silver in gorgeous Commemorative format. When I knock a few other things off my numismatic to-do list, I'll surely add this! Love it.

Gotcha, I'm sure there are lots of ways to do the crack outs.
I like how you filled those two empty holes with the Eisenhower bicentennial dollars. Are those the silver-clad versions? Some sort of label maker you have on clear stickers?

A beautiful, memorial collection. They look so very impressive displayed together.
I've nearly persuaded myself to collect the moderns. I'm still missing 5 of my classic, which has been my excuse not to go to the newer issues.
I probably won't have any excuse at all once my CSC are complete.

This set is so under the radar, it's not even funny. I will probably put a nice Dansco set like you did. Well done!

Thanks all ...
When this set is complete it will be one of my top three favorite Dansco sets.
I still need 16 dollars to complete Vol. 2. I will be watching for deals to fill those empty holes.
I hope in the future Dansco will put out Vol. 4, and put out a replacement page 4 for Vol 3, above.
-------------------------- I did add the 40% Ike's to the first Vol. My thought is, the Bicenntenial Ike's are the first modern commemorative dollars
I made the labels with a P-touch label maker, clear tape black letters.

It's great to see your progress with the proof dollars. I have all the proofs but only a few of the uncurculated examples. I'm happy with just one example of each design but your endeavor looks challenging.

It is quite a challenge muddler .l. At least for me.
I do think I am getting close.
Right now I am just counting the labeled holes.
For the 3 albums there are 134 labeled holes. I have 116 filled.
18 more coins I will be pretty happy.

My last ones were the Atlanta coins. I waited for a set I liked instead of buying the individual coins.

I still haven't figured out how the baseball commem is going to work out if dansco does an update. It's a challenge to get some of them for under that $30 mark isn't it.

Great progress GR58. Looking forward to more additions from you.
Edit to add ... my strong advise to anyone wishing to pursue these coins is to purchase them after-market and not directly from the Mint during the US Mint release timeframe.
With practically no exceptions, every commemorative dollar issued from 2010 to date, both Proof and UNC versions, sells for less now than the original issue price.
PM on the way to GR58 to see if I can help fill a few of those holes.

GR58-- what a beautiful collection!
Not only is it great to see them all together, but you have some very beautiful examples of the coins in your Dansco as well. That will be a fantastic accomplishment when you are finished.

Looks great! Makes me want to start one. I have so many open albums right now...but maybe someday when I can close some of the others out. It's beautiful!
