World Silver Bullion Collectible Series

I have provided an updated list.

Since this is a list for me to collect coins, it may not suit all or be completely comprehensive.

It is intended to show mostly current world silver bullion BU 1 oz series. Since this is what I collect. I believe it shows a total of 321 available in current actual series, including one completed lunar series (Australia Lunar I). Of these I am at 250.

I also include some other series in the grey boxes in the second picture. I included one type I do not collect (coins that come in cards). Otherwise, I collect them but they do not fit the standard. This would be such as, other unique (meaning just not a different size of a 1 oz variation) non-1 oz series, or coins that seem to pop up at random year (such as St. George). Even so, I did not include some series (such as Ireland Clover) because they did not have a legal tender I could find. Yes, I do include Libertad in the regular series even though it is not tied to legal tender, but hey-- it is my list, haha, so I can make exceptions.

I collect 1oz silver coins from different countries. I do not purchase any coins from private mints. If you want to keep the cost down, buy raw coins that will still cost 5 to 10 dollars above melt. In my collection, I have started to find countries that just recently have been releasing coinage from their mints like Ukraine. These following countries have a yearly release: Great Britain, China, Austria, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Armenia, Rwanda, Somalia, & ASE. I have found that many countries do mint commemorative silver 1 oz coins but they can cost up to 5 times silver melt. I use Moderncoinmart for the free shipping. But I find that there are other dealers can have silver bullion that Moderncoinmart may not carry.

Very nice list! I have this going as well although I had to sell a few of the more expensive ones recently. I just have to replace them with cheaper years/designs. Oh and I am only doing a type set kind of like Debra so that way I don't have to spend more than a few over melt price. Good luck in your search!

Your best bet to acquire something different, is to still go to a bullion dealer, and have a look at what has been surrendered by other customers, and pick up what unusual items they may have to offer.
If you go down that track, ring them first to make sure that they may have something available, that may be of interest to you.

You don't always have to acquire modern bullion coins in low MS condition.
I have only about 40 crown sized silver coins. 10 or so of them are dated in the 1800's, are of the more common types in F or VF condition, but I still consider them to be not much better than bullion coins. Still lots of fun to have in my collection.

I'm actually interested in something similar: a proof 1 oz. silver bullion coin series.
I was thinking of the Chinese Panda series, as it seems nicely varied, but I'm open to suggestions.

I didn't see the South Africa Krugerrand on the list, or mentioned?

The list was posted in early 2017. The Krugs hadn't come out yet.
I think 2017 had like 29 new issues. That was one of them.
