I believe my pics will disappoint. I forgot that I have not figured out a display strategy for this set yet, so they are in some very unflattering saflips and plastic sheets.    |

Well, with the 2015 superman, I didn't mind paying $4 over spot for one of them. It graded MS 69 DCAM. You made sure that that plastic is PVC free right? Those look nice blast white, not green.

Crazyglue .. that is a lot of maple leaf silver .. thanks for posting. Taking pictures in flips and pages can be tough ... For me how I store and display my coins is ever changing. I have some coins that I had coins go from 2x2's to folders to 2x2's to albums to air-tites ... I am thinking at some point you will find a way to store/display these nice coins. Of course there is nothing wrong with how you have them now.  |

I am with you-- I am ever changing also.
I went through a Dansco phase...but right now am not feeling Danscos, I think just because they take up so much room.
Lately have been thinking I may go with airtite in a nice Guardhouse box designed to keep airtites from touching each other.
But tomorrow, it may be something totally else!

I don't like Danscos either for UNC coins. If you aren't careful, you get slide marked coins.

I have milk spots on 3 of them, if I recall correctly. Three of the newer dates. I did decide on a display strategy. It was not to display them. So I put them out to look at them and then I put them up in a box.    |

Wow crazyglue, that is both inspirational and impressive! I might also be a new fan of direct fit air-tites...38mm right? Do they fit real snug? And where did you get that box

They are 38mm yes. They are almost too snug, they are not perfect fits like my 40mm coins. Maybe I bought an off brand of airtite.
The box is a guardhouse brand double tray to hold 50 airtites. They make single side 25 holders. They make small, medium, large and extra large. For a 40mm I would go extra large. The large works well for 38mm.

That's what I have been worried about is being too snug to the point of damaging the coin. I have always used the ringed air-tites. I have been buying them from ebay seller onfireguy. Do you think a 39mm holder would be better if they are that snug or would that make it too loose? |
