Well. I tried to offer him five cents each, with a message explaining War Nickels and pre-1964 coinage. ebay wants me to offer a minimum of 99 cents. No thanks. I'll report the sale instead.

Wholesalers pay 7 cents ea for pre 1960 nickels. The most you can lose is 499.65! (Plus postage!)
