Nice Andrew! I'm torn between whether or not I should continue to build my Seated dollar collection or expand my early dollar set. Early dollars really aren't scarce but command big premiums. Yet Seated's are very scarce especially in AU. There are only two 1867 Seated dollars listed for sale right now on ebay.

OMG. I'm so jealous Andrew and Mike. I'm more of a Bust guy. But, I could learn to love the Seated lady too. Are both coins AU58s?

I pretty much like anything pre-1873, including both bust and Seated coins.

I want to get an early date CBH or large diameter CBQ.

I like Bust, Seated, and Trade dollars, as well as, Bust and Seated halves. The Bust and Seated quarters and 20 cent pieces are pretty sweet too. Expensive taste is a horrible thing!

I love 20c pieces, but the series, though short, is uncompleteable.

If you go to collector's corner which summarizes a segment of dealer inventories, there are 487 Seated dollars and 283 Bust Dollars. Bust dollars tend not to be ebay coins so much. Neither do Seated dollars.

Sorry to be a little late to this thread, but I picked up this 1842 50c at the HA Dallas auction. For some reason I really like the reverse on this one.
