Stolen by a family member . Now Doesn't that make your blood boil . I keep at least half of my collection out in the open because of storage space or lack of it . Yeah ,I'm more worried about family members visiting me than some creep breaking into my house and stealing my life long collection . But on the bright side ,glad to here you obtained some of your Grandfathers coins .

and @JBuck is in for a treat for sure! Beautiful collections of Ike's. Thank you for sharing them with us! So sorry that the rest of the collection was stolen, especially by a family member.

That is very impressive! Thank you for sharing the photos (which are not as bad as you think). I am glad that you were able to get those, especially since you appreciate their sentimental value. Sorry to hear someone absconded with the rest of the collection. Not cool at all.

Wow that's a nice set right there, and the sentimental value makes them priceless! I had a similar experience with Ikes, in which a family member got me into coin collecting in part due to their gifting me a 1972 Blue Ike. I'm sure all those coins will always be a cherished part of your collection!

Value means more than money... They are priceless heirlooms to go from generation to generation.

Really cool set, and neat einsenhowers too. So sorry to hear that someone dishonored your grandfather's collection.
