Old Collection Found, Need Help Determining Worth! Thanks!

A small stash like that is what got me started "re-collecting" in 2013, wound up with a mason jar of silver dimes and a box of misc mixed older coins. Pretty much the same Mercury dates in fact!

That is a nice box to find! Some pretty good advice has been given so far--it is certainly a valuable group of silver, but unless any of them are flashy uncirculated, it's going to be melt value plus a small premium for being classic US silver.

My advice? Silver is in a slump right now so unless $400 will change your financial situation significantly, hold on to it and then sell on ebay when silver is at least $20/oz again. Also don't feel bad for keeping your favorite coins!

Although this neat batch may not have very high grades, there is also that possibly that there are a few. Even on common 90% silver, a higher grade can increase the value many fold.

Ill look forward to seeing any photos you can provide, especially for the 1934-D and two 1928-S Walkers.
