Quarter. Big enough to see, small enough to be affordable (in a nice grade).

For the junk silver value I would have to say the quarter (if amount didn't matter) because silver quarters are the best size and make the best noises.

If we're talking nicest-looking I'd have to say the dime. The reverses of the half dollar and the quarter are not that great to be honest.

If it is about the design, the bigger the better.

The only one of those three that I still need for my type set is the half dollar.

However, if they were offered for a price realistic to each denomination, I'd take the dime because that's the only one I could realistically afford (I got insanely lucky on my type set quarter - the seller had no idea what he had, and sold it for just over spot)
And if they were offered for the same price that it would be realistic to have any of them sell at, I won't take any of them because then the price would be way out of my budget.
(And if they were all offered for the same small price, e.g. as gifts, of course I would take the half dollar, even if I did already have one. But the OP says "buy".)

I was thinking the same thing as Benja. That eagle just does not do it for me.

I'd go with the half because I have MS examples of dime and quarter for my '09 type set but my half is EF40. So I'd sell the 1900 half and put it toward the half for my 1909 set.

to the CCF!

To me the Barber dime is the best coin of the Barber series. The obverse design is nicer in a smaller size, there's no stars on the obverse, and the head motif fits well with the wreath reverse, even if it was recycled from the Seated dime. Then again, I only collect Barber dimes, so I'm partial

I personally enjoy large silver coins, so it is the half dollar for me.

None of them as a buyer. The 1901s quarter and the early 1890's quarters and halves are slightly interesting.

As far as dimes go....well, I like the 1856S....my least favorite coins....

Why limit the year to 1900? I guess I'd vote for a 1900-O dime although none would be my first choice in year.

The half because I don't have one because it's the most expensive of the three.

I already have all of them for 1900, but I voted for the Half because it's my first and favorite. Here are my 1900 Halves:
