Even if it was MS64 and full steps would it warrant anywhere close to the BIN price?

I have a 68s with 4 contiguous steps and just barely a blemish happening on the 5th. Guess I should submit it to Anacs since the price guide says a MS66 with FS is 20 grand. I mean a song supporter of Darwinism the only unethical thing for me to do is to not take advantage of the situation for profit. Don't worry I'll post my ebay username so you guys can avoid it. Lol

Here's mine Debrajc, it is not the star of my set for sure, and this picture stinks which I tried to take last night. It was not worthy of posting. There is a scratch on mine like "The Joker" in Batman but the light makes it look much worse than it is. Half of the other stuff is reflections and dust particles and this one is in a couple layers of plastic. Terrible picture, thank you very much.
I have a tub of duplicates of the tougher nickels. I probably have a better one in there but this one is in my set for now.
If I ever learn how to take pictures, I plan to do all my keeper Jeffersons and straighten out my best of.

I'm concerned more about the slab being cracked and a substandard coin being put in. Even if the coin pictured is MS64, that's chump change without FS. Someone is going to lose big time on that one.

Slabs are supposed to be tamper proof.

And remember, people pay good money to the TPGs so they can have their coins verified by the most educated and reliable experts...

Yet the same people will pay CAC's "better most educated and reliable experts" to verify the TPG's people did their job?!

So I wonder how tamper proof "tamper proof" means?

Maybe CAC can branch out and start adding a new color sticker to slabs that show no sign of tampering?

Make it and they will come.

No wa, Jose. I wouldn't give that a 2nd look. A few boxes ago,

I puled a 4 stepper, but had 3 healthy dings on it.

Until about 5 yrs. ago, neither PCGS, nor NGC had cetrified any.

I believe that pop stands @ about 14, for all the top tier TPGs.

I took a look at mine (probably a roll find) and it has a nice solid partial step. Oh well.

@ Earle42 ... that is without a doubt the funniest and best example I have ever seen of the conundrum of modern slab markings.

Well said indeed.

Thanks - I am glad it makes people chuckle.

Actually, I was thinking of paying to get the SSVS (Slab Sticker Verification Service) to affix their sticker on this one to verify all my present stickers are verified original stickers.

Hey all! I didn't think there existed such a window of difference between coin grading companies but learning quickly(thanks to CCF!:) I'm considering submitting this 69s for full steps consideration and wanted your opinions on the coin, as well as which company to use.Wouod like the best results if an auction is in my future! :)

Ouch ... perhaps a zombie thread and for sure worthy of a separate thread to discuss the latest coin

@Kim Brown

It would be best to create a new topic for your coin.

Hope the OP on this restart knows his 69S Business strike looks to be in just barely MS60 gradable. Also thee slight disturbance on last lower right knocks it to 4.5. Hmmm, $40 grading fees(if lucky) plust $10-15 shipping/insurances is $55 for a $30 coin....hmmmm.....
