I always enjoy looking at type sets. Thanks for posting yours. I think your off to a good start. I guess I am thinking different than some of the other that have posted here. If I bought that Pilgrim for my type set, then I would crack it out, and put it in the album. I think it is graded correctly and no real reason not to crack it. If it was a higher grade coin, MS 65 or better, I might think different. I think it would look great in your 7070. In the future you can always swap them out. Then you could put the Pilgrim in your Commemorative half dollar album you will start some day. I have switched mine several times. Right now I have Presidents. Washington, Madison, Lincoln and Grant. Jefferson in my commemorative dollar hole.  In my Intercept shield album, I went with all modern proofs.  I hope we can see more of your set as you fill those empty holes. |

@GR58, I purchased another BU Pilgram, raw, at the Long Beach coin show..
Now I have raw & slabbed Pilgram. I will post the pics shortly.
BTW, you have outstanding sets posted above.

My budget was $150 or under for Half Cent to dime. $250 under for quarters to halves. $400 under for raw dollars. Coins added to my 7070 album. (two upgrades) Half Cents.. Classic & Coronet added.   |
