Quote: No, I have not made any connections regarding the 1967 centennial Canadian nickel. I would like to get one for me and one for my son. If I come across another one, I will let you know and shoot it your way for you and your son to enjoy :)

Quote: Picked up a box of Canadian nickels today in Georgetown, Ontario: 1x1941 (very good condition) 1x1961 (stop sign shape) 1x1963 5x1964 and 1x1940 USA not as great as it used to be...but still some hope! Nice finds JBU! I just got through my most recent 30 rolls and I will post the findings soon. As a teaser, lets just say I may have found 2 varieties that have alluded me thus far potentially! Stay tuned ;)

arvan,
I tried to contact you by email, but it said you did not wish to receive emails.
I am not sure how to get set up to receive PM's.

Do either of you have one extra 1970 Canadian? My son needs one.

Those 1970 Canadian nickels are very hard to find. Took me almost 45 years to find one in circulation here in the states - last January. It is the only one I own.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Unruhjonny and I were able to trade some American pennies that he needed for some Canadian nickels that my son and I needed. If anyone else would like to trade Canadian nickels for American coins, let me know. We still need a lot of Canadian nickels to fill the wholes in our collections.

It has been a while since I have been on the site as a few things have gotten in the way (been designing a board game for a contest. Takes up a lot of time!)
Got a $100 box of nickels and the second roll I went through I found a 1945 Victory nickel! It is in REALLY bad shape but it was fun finding that coin. They are by far my favorite coin to collect :)
Good to see there were some finds while I was gone!
