Good to see that we can help each other out! After roll hunting dimes the last time to the bank, I have MUCH more appreciation for the larger nickel coins lol. My eyes are so sore from looking at tiny dates on dimes :S

***Rolls Searched: 106***

Got another 30 rolls for this weekend and found some good coins :)

Finally seen my first 1967 Centennial nickel in the wild which was great! And it was right after JonNickelCollector mentioned he was looking for one. Jon, were you able to make a connection and get one?

Found a 2014 with some nice blue toning which I am keeping.

Also found a 1961, 1962 and 1964 Queen Vic that you all know I love.

Came across a 1941 Canadian and 1939 American nickel. That is the oldest American nickel I have found to do. I am thinking of maybe starting a collection of American nickels now.

I also found a 10 cent Cayman Islands coin. I had no idea they had their own coins or that they were part of the commonwealth. Learn something new everyday!

I also found two more really beat up coins. I think I am going to collect the real beaters I find. For some reason I am fascinated by them :)

I hope you enjoy and let me know if you found anything fun recently!

Picked up a box of Canadian nickels today in Georgetown, Ontario:
1x1941 (very good condition)
1x1961 (stop sign shape)
1x1963
5x1964
and 1x1940 USA
not as great as it used to be...but still some hope!

arvan,

No, I have not made any connections regarding the 1967 centennial Canadian nickel. I would like to get one for me and one for my son.

Nice finds JBU! I just got through my most recent 30 rolls and I will post the findings soon. As a teaser, lets just say I may have found 2 varieties that have alluded me thus far potentially! Stay tuned ;)

I tried to contact you by email, but it said you did not wish to receive emails.

I am not sure how to get set up to receive PM's.

Those 1970 Canadian nickels are very hard to find. Took me almost 45 years to find one in circulation here in the states - last January. It is the only one I own.

CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
