Would you care to see a counterfeit?

I just noticed that the "dot" in E PLURBUIS UNUM and QUARTER DOLLAR were removed on the Type II reverse.

Is it an actual counterfeit? There are genuine replicas that are made to look like this (worn appearance). They're made in China and disclosed as being a replica/repro piece. I haven't seen one being passed off as the real thing, but maybe yours is different.

Counterfeit may not be the appropriate description, definitely a Chinese fake.

This one has a connection to the late J.H. Cline. Though it wasn't part of his personal collection, it was purchased by his wife/widow and later sold as part of the "Top Hat Collection." It has a light rose/pink champagne tone to it on both sides, and the pictures don't really do it justice.

Nice, Andrew! The rarest in the series.
