I see plenty wrong with this coin, not even a good fake, must be a older one. I've heard of coin stores having a good reputation, but never a pawn shop. I hope you get a refund, but I doubt a pawn shop would offer that, I imagine all sales are final.

I think it is illegal to sell a counterfeit coin, and illegal sales are not final. The OP may want to post pics of the other coin for the forum to check it out also, if one is fake, then others very well may be too.
Fake or not, I would not have paid $625 for it in that condition. As was linked above, they can be had in MS for the same or less money... If you take it back, you may to prove it's the same one you bought from them. You shouldn't have any trouble getting your money back, though, as it is illegal to sell fake coins. The problem, as I just mentioned, is proving that you're returning the same one you took out of there... Is there a reputable coin shop in your area? That dealer might be able to back you up its authenticity.
my thoughts exactly.. Also when side by side comparison it's a hair thinner than other Morgans.. Thanks for the feedback. Not one of you said maybe so I'm taking it back.. Thanks again...

They aren't final but there is a BIG kicker to it. If they deny the refund you have to prove that not only did you buy it there but that was the coin that they sold you. Shady places can simply say they would never sell that or you switched the item on them ect and about all you could do then would be take them to court but again you would have to try and prove something that in most cases you can't
Below is a genuine VAM 3 tilted left CC. On the OP coin the CC is tilted left and the date is in the correct position for the VAM 3, but as noted the surface has a cast look and the color is similar to artificial toning on counterfeits. The denticles also appear off. None of the genuine die cracks are visible on the OP coin. There is also a couple of die cracks in the eye area of a VAM 3 that can be checked that I am certian will not be on the OP coin.
OP, why don't you post the other coin you bought from this Seller. We can let you know if it looks OK. It would be better to deal with the Seller just once more instead of twice.
