Good call E&V ! Totally agree about the Grease Mold Doubling. Here is my 1996 example.

Uruman , the Grease Mold Doubling totally trumps a common WAM. Before I found my example the link above read that 1996 was missing from the run of dates. Mr. Diamond should be invited to view this thread so he can add 2000 to his listed run of dates. This is a special find.

Stoneman227, I'll contact Mike Diamond and I'll tell him about the Grease Mold Doubling. I'll send him the link to this thread.

Very cool. This is the first example I've seen of grease-mold doubling in a 2000 cent. So that makes 6 consecutive years in which this error appears (1995-2000).

Guess what uruman? You have the first example of Grease Mold Doubling on a 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent! Very nice purchase and congratulations! This is the first time that Mike Diamond has seen this.

If you plan on keeping it for a long time until you pass away, I'd say go for it! Just remember it will cost you a lot of money.

uruman, Save yourself a couple of bucks and just print out Mikes comment. Keep the printout with the coin in an Air-Tite. John1
