Interestingly, it looks like the letter F on the bust means this coin was minted in Calcutta. "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Looks genuine to me. I don't see any red flags, that would make me think that it's fake.

Jimmy, I tend to agree, the font and positioning of the periphery lettering is different than NumisRobs which is a known real coin. The Arabic on OP's looks off in structure as well. What do you see so we can nail this as a faker? |

E and V- Nobody said you were stupid. You are fairly knowledgeable when it comes US error coins. What is apparent is your lack of knowledge when it comes to counterfeits. This is twice in the last week you have had to be corrected for misinforming an OP on his coin. There is a lot of difference in misdiagnosing a copper cent as to whether it is MD or DDD when it doesn't make too much difference in value as to telling a member that his coin is genuine when it is counterfeit. This can make a difference as to getting their money back or keeping a fake believing it is real. Edited by JimmyD

unicool7- Please ignore any advise you were given as to the coin being genuine. It is clearly a counterfeit. Besides the differences that Crazyb0 pointed out, I will show you with a side by side what is wrong with the coin. You can use this if you need to help get your money back. There are more than what I am showing on both the Obverse and Reverse but this should be sufficient. On the counterfeit coin: Note the difference in the style of the letter "E". The serifs point up on an angle, they should be straight. The ribbon at the bottom is too far from the date. Check the difference in the location of the letters to the corresponding leaves. This applies all around the coin.  Edited by JimmyD

YOu can always send it to have it graded but in my opinion, it's probably a fake.
