The solid eights are going to be wicked bid, a few well known currency collectors are already saying their mine, I wish I got into currency earlier it's a little late now.

Yeah, I put a early bid of $1000 on the 1954 $20 solid eight note , it didn't last the week. LOL

Anyone pick up any eye candy from the auction?

The 10 million notes just went insane, couldn't even get my bid in and they were gone, oh well that's what they are worth today

Same here, all the au/unc solids went for way over listed prices. Only the lower graded notes sold for below listed value. People took a chance, this notes were not even graded, imagine they come back AU or lower. Then I guess they get cut out of the protective sleeves and back to where they are now.
WAIT!
Maybe this is a vicious cycle? I'll bet we will se these notes in the future.

Nice! List price for CH UNC is $1,500, but that is also with the EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) tag. This one didn't get that tag, so I would don't have paid the list price of $1,500. Hope you got it for around $950-$1,000 cad....

$800 CDN plus shipping overseas and the premium. $990 CDN in total. I now have all the 1937 notes in 64 (except for the $1000). I need the 1954 Devil in $50 and $100 and I have everything other than the $1000 bills from 1937 onward, all in 64 condition. Unfortunately, everything I need now is getting expensive.

They are out there, but in 64 grade, it will be tough but not impossible. I have a $50 devil face but it is far from 64 grade. I give it max EF grade. *** Edited by Staff - Please review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

Thanks but I'm sticking with my goal of graded 64 bills.

Actually some coming up at auction in a few weeks. Will probably make a try for it, along with some others.

One of my go to daily checks is icollector. You can search a lot of auctions from all over with one simple word search and you can get notification via email with your keywords.
