Maybe too much wear on the reverse (left wreath) for AU? Still a pretty coin. I love buying from a LCS. No anxiety over what the coin will look in hand. Lucky to have several near me.

EF to AU50 Yes, a little more chatter on the rev. then what you would like to see. Very slight misaligned die on the rev. Die crack @ 10/11 O'clock on the rev? Die crack from the rim to the eagles beak?

I gave mine an acetone bath with a "very light" Q-tip rub. It really took all the gunk out of all the letters, date and the notches around the rim. I could see it cleaning (I don't like the word cleaning and coins in the same sentence), up your coin nicely. Very nice addition to your 7070! !

Good eye USSID18. Reverse is definitely weaker than the obverse, misaligned, with crack.

Here she is in my 7070.

I'm mid AU also. AU53 possibly 55. eagle and reverse ribbon are too strong imo for an XF grade. value wise XF money due to the dull surfaces and possible old cleaning. not a bad pickup
