xshift, he will have plenty of time to answer internet posts as his accounts are suspended on ebay.

Again, if you think his sales tactics lack credibility, how can you believe that he was suspended over a billing dispute.

His reasons make no nevermind to me, and I don't even waste the time wondering. I'm just glad his ability to take advantage of the unsuspecting buyer is currently curtailed.

The addresses I posted above for Mikes Coins were all found on his websites both past & current. Sorry if that annoyed Forum Mod. As far as ebay goes.. You can get booted from ebay with a $$ dispute. I spoke to one guy who got a ebay refund of about $1600 with his dispute with Mikes Coins and maybe Mike did not fess up to paypal for the loss. Anyhow.. He's realy hurting the credibility of honest dealers. On a side note: According to my Aunt who works for the new congressman for that district, when you steal across state lines especially using the post office it becomes an FBI matter. I'll keep you posted on that.

Also my thanks to Parklane64 for the warm welcome.

Anybody have any thoughts on my comments about US 90% silver & the future of our monitary system or is this the wrong thread for that?

That statement confuses me very much. ebay does not give refunds for transactions gone bad.

When ebay decides in favor of the buyer the seller is forced to give a refund. If the funds are not available this poses a dispute with Paypal.

Sorry but ebay doesn't decide anything about refunds.

OK now I'm confused. I had a dispute with a buyer on ebay about 1 year ago. ebay not only told me I had to give a refund but they withheld those funds from my account. I had the funds in my account to allow Ebay/paypal to do this. Now what part of theat is not right? have they changed this ?

You must be talking about Paypal because ebay's got nothing to do with it.

Frankielo Paypal will only refund the buyer if they can recover the funds. If there are no funds in the sellers account to be recovered then they will not refund the buyer. Not that I am bitter and twisted about this (Much) but its something I will always take into account in the future when buying things using paypal.....

There are several threads about that, seems to be a couple new ones every week. I don't have a link but think the last few were in the general coin forum. It seems to be easier on everyone if each thread stays on topic, although I know I have nudged at least one off to the side before.

Yes, they do.

Very true, and sometimes it's a beneficial thing that a thread wanders. However, this particular thread will not be allowed to wander. It also will not be allowed to degenerate, nor will it be allowed to become a liability to Coin Community.

Public information is public information, and has an inherent right to dissemination. However, Coin Community will not become that integral a part of a personal campaign against a specific seller, however "right" that campaign may be. What we're doing here is larger than ebay, and this mission takes priority.

I guess it's not important as to how Mikes coins was seperated from ebay. The point is Buyer Beware when it comes to Mikes coins and I'm personally glad to see the rip offs stopped on that site. I'm sort of forced into buying by mail as I have not found a local dealer who carries what I like to buy. I'd much rather do cash & carry. I'm done on this topic. My appologies to the moderator as this was my first time out of the box on a blog. Thanks all for the conversation.
