Saw this and found it interesting considering how things went down the tubes in '09.

I do not own this piece, I saw it on ebay and had to really think about the purchase of it. I can't consider this an actual NORFED or Liberty Dollar and I don't think it was minted by The Royal Hawaiian Mint. However it does fit the theme.

I like both of these chopped - never seen either one of them. Admittedly I do not actively search Norfeds at present though b/c I have been busy unpacking from a relocation and also have been focusing (very little though!) on my WLHs.
To me the NORFED effigy is close to being worthy of the classic designs we all know and love. Much better than most things coming out of the mint these days.

2013 New Liberty Dollar, It was designed to overcome all the legal obstacles of the original design. It was not minted by The Sunshine Mint, It was conceived by Joseph Vaughn Perling.... Just google his name. I got this from Charles Hampe and asked if he would Hallmark it for me.

Found x14 "Scales of Justice" hallmarked 06/07 pieces as well as x5 Ron Paul #'d BoR pieces. Lot included a AOCS Ron Paul piece. Paid 500. Also I found the following piece a while back which one was probably my personal favorite to pass through my hands. Apparently 50 were hallmarked in this fashion and that the mintage date would make these have the same status as the Evansville pieces. Also I picked this little 21mm sterling silver dude up a bit ago as well. Minted in 1976, this is the earliest reference to a NORFED design. Mintage is probably a couple dozen. Basically paid a ridiculously small fraction of the 2,000-dollar appraisal for all of the above. Sold the Trillion and 1976 Shelter piece to the same collector who pretty much plans to keep them for the entirety of his life. One more interesting thing that I picked up for my own keeps is the two variations of printed LD rolls with disclaimers. One is half oz and another is one oz. They contain their original contents and the obverse of one of them has a wonderful brown mosaic toning from the end of the roll.

Just listed this one. Have a few different NORFED rounds and will be listing them over the next few weeks.
