Nice results! I will be watching the SAC Dollar, although I would get blown out the water on the bidding...I am going to at least try!

The word from Heritage is The 2019 ANA World's Fair of Money US coins Signature Auction - Chicago August 13 - 20. All of you are welcome to bid on this pair. I don't have a budget that would let me even try for these. (Sorry for the silly reply, but I'm kind of happy!)

If sold for $5750 + $50 you can eat a box of Cheerios valued at $2.99 every 2 weeks for the next 80 years. It's like winning a "Cheerios for life" contest. Congrats!

Update: Heritage sent me a link to the coin on their site. The following description will be used for the 2 coin lot. Sacagawea dollars2000-P SAC$1 "Cheerios," FS-902, MS67 PCGS. The so-called "Cheerios" variety, listed in the Guide Book as the Boldly Detailed Tail Feathers variety, which merely describes the diagnostic: sharply ribbed tailfeathers on the reverse eagle. This variety was not publicized until years after the 2000 breakfast cereal promotion. Surviving examples are scarce and highly sought-after in high grades. This Superb Gem example displays full detail and deeply prooflike golden surfaces. Eye appeal is outstanding. Includes the accompanying "Cheerios" 2000 Lincoln Cent, certified MS66 Red in a consecutively numbered holder.

Awesome! Very nice coins! I am curious though, can someone explain to me why the penny didn't grade higher than ms66? It looks like at least ms67 to me? But I don't know anything about pennies...

Today is the day! My Cheerios Dollar and Cent will be sold on Heritage.com. The current bid is $3500.00 (+$700 Buyer's Premium) with a little over 4 hours left in Proxy Bidding. It goes to Live Bidding later today. Seven people have bid on it so far. I'll update this post again when it sells. I am having a GREAT DAY!

As long as those cheerios coins don't have "milk spots". Good luck with your auction.
