$220 in assorted rolls contained nothing of interest, except for a single 2021-D. Anybody know if these are scarce, or are they turning up in large numbers, like the 2017-D and 2018-D coins?

In Boston yesterday. Went into a bank and asked if they had any Half Dollars. The teller said she had $28 worth. Bought the lot but no silver. However a few clad upgrades to my collection so not a total waste of time!

$40 worth of assorted halves from a local bank included 4 silver-clads plus a 2005-P NIFC half. I didn't keep the 2017-D, 2018-D, and 2020-D coins I found since they apparently aren't scarce at all. Not a lot of silver, but far better than nothing!

I occasionally still check for halves but haven't seen any silver for many months. A $240 buy of rolls at a local Wells Fargo did yield 17 silver-clad halves dating 1966-1969D. I'd love to post more frequently but I'll have to find more silver first. Happy to have found these, at least.

Been a long time since any silver halves turned up for me. I went back to a bank where I scored over 50 ounces of silver a couple years back. The teller had a few loose halves and I saw that a couple were silver, or at least silver-clad so of course I said I would take them. Then she said her colleague had a bunch of rolls but was out to lunch. I could wait for her to get those, so I did. That teller had a total of $220 worth, consisting of 20 $10 rolls and a single $20 roll. All appeared to be customer-wrapped, or at least teller-wrapped. Was this another big score? I was hoping! As it turned out, all the $10 rolls were solid BU 2023-P coins. Such a disappointment! The $20 roll however had several silver-clads plus a Susan B. Anthony dollar (a $0.50 profit right there). So, not a major score but 11 silver-clads is more silver than I've seen in quite a while.
