If the coin has any semblance of some luster anywhere, Lady Liberty would be the place to see it best at least on this coin. Upon tilting movement an unpolished/unaltered original Lady Liberty surface should reveal traces of a traveling cartwheel in that area. This obviously would not apply to the fields on this coin.

Not the same coin. Just compare the dark toning area to the left of the left ribbon end on the two coins.

100% different coins. Look at the position of the left arrow compared to the 1 in the date.

The arrows were hand punched on the Half Dime dies in 1853, and there were 78 die pair created for Philadelphia. Position of the arrows is a key die marker. Both arrows are in different locations on the two coins. I agree with the upthread comments, these are definitely two different coins from two different dies.

i contacted the seller and asked for a return since he sent the wrong coin. He said he found the coin in the listing and was willing to send it to me if I wanted. I said ok if he pays for return shipping and to ship the right coin out. He said ok, so it is on its way. thx!

It's good that you didn't have to go through a bunch of hassle to make it right.
