I've just recently taken interest in coin collections and value. So I'm not quite sure of where would be the appropriate place to post my questions and inquiries. So please let me know if I'm doing okay or on the wrong track. Any help, advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Anyways, among the loose change my sister was given from a grocery store, she discovered a very unique penny! It's a 1964-D
Lincoln Penny. What's unique about it is that the back side of it is almost completely blank! And I mean that it's super smooth except for a little bit of the word "STATES" that can vaguely been seen on the top.
Can anyone please tell me more about this penny?
I'm gonna try to upload images here, hoping it's the correct place...
