I used to keep a spreadsheet of what I find in each box, but I stopped doing that in 2017. According to what I have, my best was 45 in one box.

My worst (not including the two boxes of 2017-P OBW rolls I got) was 6 in a box.

My box came from a credit union in a rural town, and was an obvious dump, almost all of the rolls were wheats. Including 2 x 22d's

I'm doing a challenge right now where I look through 1 million pennies and, after 130 boxes of pennies, I average a little more than 10 a box (10.75 to be exact). My best box so far has been 38 wheats, but I'm only doing bank-wrapped coins, so my results don't usually vary that much.

We get about 15 a box, Indiana.

Our best is around 80, an obvious dump

My guess? is that they are all culls of common dates in lower grades, from a CRH'er.

No profit to be made by trying to sell them, so may as well re circulate them. Let some other CRH'er have a go at them instead.

I have deliberately re circulated lower valued numismatically interesting coins myself. Let someone else have some fun.

I've never come anywhere near 50 wheat pennies in one box.

We recently got around 60 in one box. We've probably got 30 wheats or more about 5 times over the last few years.

I usually find 10-20 in a single box, but I did pick up a few customer rolled pennies earlier this year, and one of them was entirely wheat cents, including a solid F 1911-S. Definitely felt like I hit the lottery that day.

Yeah, I've only done a few boxes, but my first had 52 as I recall, including a 1922 D. Next two since then have had over 15 each.
