I've had reasonable success using Numista.

I have reached a milestone on Numista! Still a long way to go if I list my entire collection, but I have now listed 500 items from 100 countries!

Is-Numista-Worth-The-Effort?
My collection map is strongly "bimodal." Hotspots in Europe (especially Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Low Countries) where I collect older stuff according to certain themes, and lots of blue (1 per country) for my birthyear collection. Also the ratio of "Issuers" to "Countries" is higher than either Dearborn or NumisRob probably because I have a lot of German States and Italian States coins.

There's also this chart:

It might help me track my OFEY runs, except it also catches undated coins by the first year of their date range, so I would need to find a way to exclude those.

Numista is different things to different collectors. If your collection is very specialized, like samoth, I agree it's not terribly useful, because you already have the specialty catalogs that feed Numista.
If you collect mostly modern world coins, you can find them in the KM catalog (though there are mistakes and omissions there which are sometimes corrected in Numista). If you like to see patterns like in these charts, or if you just want to keep track of what you have, Numista can be a nice tool, though if you're handy with creating your own database, then you can customize its design more narrowly for your needs. If you get familiar with using the various filters, etc in doing searches, it can be helpful for figuring out your unknowns. But not always, since some of the listings are missing data (weight, diameter...).

I'm mostly just adding coins in Numista for my circulating World coin collection.
At some point, I may start adding my collectables here too.

Another landmark - I have reached 1,000 coins on Numista! Still a very long way to go before I list my full collection!

At first I found Numista very quirky and not especially user-friendly. I now have my own method of working with it - I search by country and date rather than typing in a denomination, and I untick everything I don't need, including going through the 'Coins' tab. It still often throws up strange things, such as when the date also corresponds to a catalog number: a 2019 gold proof £500 coin came up when I searched 'United Kingdom... 1787' as it was KM#1787!
Something I find frustrating about Numista is that some Proof Sets aren't listed even though individual Proof Coins are - including common ones like the 1953 UK and 1965 British Caribbean Territories sets. Is there an easy way to add a Proof Set or does one have to list each coin separately with all their specifications (which are all already on Numista anyway!) and then press some kind of magic button to create a Proof Set listing? It's a pain having to go through every denomination to add proofs!

Perhaps one day I will put mine in there. Right now I have 211 coins in the "world" spreadsheet tab. I still have a several pages to do document.

I like Numista as well and am trying to get a full map. I've got around 400 coins in my collection. I also use the banknote selection as I collect banknotes as well.
