The trends on my collection would probaby be around $10,000+. Right now my focus is a U.S. type collection based off of Dansco 7070 +gold page with a few gold and silver types added to the set. I started the set in June and so far have spent close to $4,500 on it lol. I also have some morgans, Buffalo nickels, misc. silver, some gold ect.
Last year I began to collect seriously.

Mine used to be worth more but I started paring back. I couldn't keep up with it all. I don't know what mine is worth because like some others have said I mostly do it for the fun of it. Nobody in my family is really interested in coin collecting but me so I don't know what will happen to them after I'm gone. I guess I need to figure that one out. In fun and for myself they are worth a million but in value I don't have a clue.

WOW, interesting results from this poll. I never realized that most collections fit into the $1K-20K range. I would have assumed it to be much higher than this, or perhaps, have I just asked the wrong lot of people?

I figure it has to be worth at least $10,000 just in saved medical bills I would of had to pay to a shrink since I retired!! The actual worth is probably around $3000.00 , OH MY GOSH I just saved $7,000!! Going to buy more coins, talk to you later!

The trend on my collection...priceless.
1/2-3/4 of the collection was inherited.
The rest of it was bought.
The bought part is most likely worth maybe 1k-2k depending on if I sell it.
I have only been collecting about 2 months though.
What I paid and what the trend value is, will be very different. (I got some really good deals)

I've done a lot of roll searching recently. I have never spent a lot of money on a coin. My most valuable coin is a quarter eagle that was a gift from my father in law. I also have an uncirculated 1934-D Peace dollar that I've been thinking about getting slabbed.

I don't know as I don't keep track. I collect what I like anyways so it really doesn't matter.

Hello everyone. I have been reading post on this site for the past couple weeks. Today I thought I would sign up. I have been collecting coins off and on since the mid 1960's. As for my collection, I have been trying to organize and put everything in a spread sheet. So far up to over 8900.00 but about 1500.00 of that is in UNC rolls that I have in the spread sheet as face value.

I would like to try and take some pics on some of my coins and get some opinions. I have already learned a lot of new thing about coins just from reading on this site.

Well , I'm in there for sure upwards in the $$$$$ range..So what are the 2 finest coins I have... very hard choice to make... It could be 1 of 2 1880 Newfoundland $ 2.00 golds or maybe my 1870 MS62 half... But then again it could be any one of my Victorian halfs..Most are EF and higher.... Or maybe my 1944 MS65 Full red cent? Geez Glen this is a toughy? Think I will go have a look at the toned coins now..I havent check any of them out since this morning..

My collection isn't worth squat but it is priceless to myself. I don't worry about how much my collection is worth. I am not in it for the money, so to speak, lol. I am in it for the fun of it.
