I think there are enough small hits on the cheek and cap to hold it down from gem status. Pretty solid for MS-64.

@KYCopperCoins, VAM-3 is common. It doesn't bring a premium. I wouldn't pay for attribution unless a VAM draws solid collector interest. I just put stickers on my slabs with the VAM number and record the VAM on the back of my 2x2s. VAM collectors will verify when they buy the coin. That's a really nice coin.

Subdued luster, kinda flat in places. 85-CC's come nice with lots of frosted devices and cartwheel luster. this one does not show that. Probably TPG'd as MS65. Technically a MS64.
