the painting appearance is due to excess jpg compression, which also hides the surface defects, no way to grade accurately from those photos

Unc Details, environmental damage is my guess. As far as the mint mark goes, I dont see one based on these photos.

Looks like spotty toning or staining. I'd say MS-65. I don't see a MM either.

I copied/pasted reverse image and drew a green circle
where I think this MM is located. If in fact this is a 64D this is the only spot that resembles the MM?
I have a picture service to magnify and get reasonable clarity. You may not see it here and may have to do what I did...Copy/Paste image and then go from there.
Anyhow, It will be interesting to see what TPG graded this coin. Maybe they mislabeled the coin or something along those lines...just a guess?

I'm not seeing any sign of a MM either, and it wouldn't be in the spot circled. I'd agree with a mis-label, unless sharper pics revealed something

Time for the show. I want to say thank you all for viewing and offering your own opinions. This Coin Community is a wondering idea, it everybody involved, sharing their know ledge on coins and learning from others for are personnel quest to be are best then past that down! We show never "Dis" at some ones mistake in the listing, or the photo's are to blurry, a novice , first time using puts a train wreak bad coin on, don't to them its worthless and spend it on a bubblegum.
This is noy a Denver Mint, no mint mark, I first saw this and assumed it was! Not all opinions are in the open, The Grade, How, Why, When, and Who.
Thank you all gal and guys be safe, be kind and help one another. God Bless Bob

Sometimes I think I'm making progress with grading skills then I have to scratch my head. I guess the gem really lies behind the clutter sometimes.
