average strike for this year. the lighting is a little overdone. some minor abrasions and rub on both sides. it's a nice CC and I think its in the MS64 box. I like grapes assessment on the coin but I think he might be a tad low on the final grade.

I'm at MS63 or MS64 depending on luster and the field area in front of the face, light scuffs MS64 deeper hits/scrapes MS63.

Love all the comments and support from everyone especially GrapeCollects...4:00 in the morn...WOW! To take the time and effort breaking the criteria into both sides of the coin with such precision...much appreciated!. Also, the die clash that you referenced may be a VAM variety which is a hit list 40. By the way, the coin was graded in an OGH MS-64 It will be arriving in a few days and I look forward having it in hand. After I inspect it, I should know what VAM variety it may be attributed. Thanks Folks!

It looks like a solid 64 to me. Would probably be a good candidate for a CAC green sticker.

with BH1964 might go MS65 toady from this new photo, the scuffs are minimal I can tell now. More like luster voids, not affecting the surface I think. Nice dollar. Might even get a Gold bean but probably not, at least a green at a minimum from CAC.

Hello BH1964 and westcoin, I'm sort of foreign to CAC certification and how it works, cost, where to send, benefits etc!. It's sounds interesting and has caught my interest. Gold Bean? I don't know what this term means...sorry, I plead total ignorance here! Also, if this is a Hit List 40 VAM (I collect VAMS as well) will I be able to have CAC attribute with a sticker? Reason I Ask? I don't plan on re-slabbing which may be normal protocol for some folks to do in order to get a VAM Variety, especially when it hits Top 50 or Hit List 40. In other words, I want to keep this coin in the OGH. Please give your thoughts and educate me here. I'm open to this CAC concept. Thanks!

Many of your questions can be answered through their website: https://caccoin.com/A CAC Gold sticker is applied to coins that CAC deems to be undergraded by at least 1 full point. i.e. If your coin was judged to be a solid 65 by current standards then CAC could (would) apply a Gold sticker to the slab.

By the way, do you think this would qualify to have a CAC sticker green and/or gold or would they reject it? It seems like a challenge based on what I read on the site to qualify as above standard for the grade...maybe I'm missing the point on the Q&A section of the site.

Your coin surely looks like it would Green sticker as solid for the grade. That is what I would expect if submitting it to CAC. CAC does not attribute nor take any "superlatives" (* +) into account. Definitely leave your coin in the rattler holder. Really no need to do anything other than enjoy it as-is. You can attribute the VAM yourself.
