So last week, I went to one of my regular banks. noticed the teller had some old style rolls, along with some normal looking ones. Well, the 10 rolls were 100% copper, including 18 wheats. I went back two days later to see if she had any more rolls from that same batch. And she did - 8 more (not old style wrappers, but fully copper). I pulled 106 more wheats  , including 44 in one loaded roll. No rare/scarce dates... most were in the 1950s. 1917 was the oldest date pulled...  CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

This week I purchased two separate batches of 500 MWR coins from my two main branches. the first batch had only two wheats, but BOTH were 110+ year old coins - a 1909 and a 1916!  The only disappointing thing was flipping the '09 and not seeing a VDB on the reverse... oh well, still a great find, regardless! The second batch only had 3 wheats, but one was another 100 year old coin, a 1919 to go along with a 1945 and 1955.  CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Nice finds, John! Coppers are becoming much less and wheats are dwindling quickly in bank rolls.

Thanks, all. Bought 10 MWR rolls of cents from one of my banks on Wednesday and found two keepers including this nice ender:  That 1939-S was the only Wheatie in the batch. The real prize came a few rolls in:   My first 1998 Wide AM found in eight years . I now own five of them. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

In absolute shock at what I brought home with me from Summerlin, NV. This morning, while going through the last of the cent rolls I brought home, this little beauty popped out!  Yes, my first ever 1999 Wide AM coin!  Another picture of the reverse below:  My finds this summer have defied the odds!! CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Great find, John77! I've found 2 1999 Wide AM's CRH, but I ended up selling one of them to a CCF member for 60.00 a few years back. Errers and Varietys.
