Fantastic coin! NGC is tough on grading Coronets above 64. I think NGC would call this one MS-64, very possibly RB. (There is plenty of luster, but I just can't get a solid feel for BR/RB from the pics.) IMHO, this one is pushing the top of the grade, and could well be sporting a bean.

[ia[ with fortcollins assessment, which was very through, but I'll go a full BN and a CAC bean too if applied for.

Not a large cent collector, but I do appreciate beauty whenever I see one like this example.

MS-63.

This was a great deal. I got it for 1k + sales tax so pretty much came out to be perfectly on book price, which I'm more than happy to pay for a coin that should have sold for a solid premium. Very excited to see this in hand when it arrives.

@GrapeCollects, PCGS is running a crossover special for submissions postmarked by tomorrow. That's short notice, but it might be worth a shot at a minimum MS-64+/MS-65 crossover. The surfaces on this coin are fantastic for a 64.

Glad it's going to pay a visit to the bean factory. You snagged a really nice one here.

Got that one and still think it would green bean if sent in to CAC. Nice mid date Grape, tough to find them in such nice condition.

Sadly it won't be in hand until either late this week or early next week.

I'm actually at an impasse when it comes to how my set is in a sense. I'm definitely high enough to be considered for registry awards, but I can't qualify for the NGC Awards since my set has too many PCGS coins and I can't compete in PCGS since they won't accept NGC. NGC is much easier to compete in since the big money is with PCGS, but at the same time I dunno if I want to cross PCGS coins into NGC holders.
