For 2005....I do not have one to post, perhaps RG or another member can help out here. I am procrastinating again in buying one as I had made the decision to forget about NCLT's and concentrate in pre decimals....

Subsription coins are going to have to be pretty special now for me to collect. I think the mint fooled us 2 years in a row once with the penny and it being aged and varnished and possibly the worst coin ever produced with the holey dollar and attached dump.

i just think we were misled with the advertising on both those coins. the photos of the penny coin show a nice untarnished copper penny and what we received was not that. And the holey dollar and dump, lol, I just dont like it, but I'm sure everyone has a coin they like least.

My least favorite Subscribtion coin is the 2003 Holey dollar and dump. Because it's not really a holey dollar AND dump, it's just one large piece with a crescent shaped hole.
It's interesting as a coin due to unusual shaped cut out, but disappointing to those collectors who expected they were getting two coins. And the Dump overlaps the Holey dollar hiding part of the dollar.
My Favorite Subscribtion coin is the 1999 Majestic Images. A simple design showing the four main Observes busts of the Queen used on Australian coins.

The 2003 Holey Dollar & Dump is a sick joke...where is the "dump" It is issues like this one that turn collectors away. The idea of minting subscription issues was brillant and the first few issues were very good. The Majestic Images would rank very highly and IMHO would come second only to the Anniversary of Decimal Currency.
