As mentioned by commems on Page 3 of this thread -- https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...y_ID=3402315 -- Gertrude K. Lathrop designed two Hall of Fame for Great Americans at NYU medals, presented below: John James Audubon (1963)   Dr. Louis Agassiz (1966)   From Agassiz' wikipedia entry: Quote:

He made institutional and scientific contributions to zoology, geology, and related areas, including multivolume research books running to thousands of pages. Sculptor Elisabeth Gordon Chandler's rendition of Benjamin Franklin for the HOF for Great Americans has been posted earlier. She designed two additional medals in the series: Nobel winning Physicist Albert A. Michelson (1973):   Theologian Jonathan Edwards (1972):   " Even a clock that's stopped is right twice a day. "
