You may be one of those people who blindly rely on an opinion from someone who took 5 seconds to assess your coin. Here we like to think for ourselves. You should learn to grade instead of relying on the work others. That lesson applies beyond just coin grading.

edit to add - on your way out I suggest you take your coin photos and condescending attitude and post both on Collectors Universe, lol...

Quote:you guys really have no clue what your doing You guys are like flea market coin dealers and noobs Haha now you guys are just salty, same old ebay and flea market coin guys that been here forever The stupidity of the comments on this site Well Johnson my boy, with comments like that, I certainly can't say that your just trying to kiss up to the forum so they give you the grades you're looking for. On the other hand I wouldn't be surprised to see some VF grades coming your way, maybe even an details comment or two.

I am one of the noobs that puts the coin at MS64 with a outside chance of MS65.

I don't think the pictures are doing this coin any justice. Pictures aren't sharp enough and I think direct sunlight is causing the surfaces and luster to look more impaired than it really is. Fields do look clean, and I'll take a stab and say those cheek marks are pretty superficial. MS65 for me, with a possibility of a one point swing either way with better pics
@Johnsonr29, the comments about the forum members competency in grading is a bit unnecessary. Take a look at previous posts with accurate pictures and you'll find the group consensus is pretty darn accurate. We can only base grade on the photos provided. That said, either your photos aren't doing the coin justice, or your expectations are high. We won't know until we see accurate photos.

@Johnson29 - It's not often we get a chance to learn from someone with your experience.

This sounds like one of those "I struck it rich, now everybody agree with me" kind of threads. PCGS and NGC combined have given MS67 or higher to 15 coins out of 109,293 graded, so good luck.

As a noob (I don't sell at flea markets), I'd agree with others--MS64, maybe MS64+.

if this coin grades at 66 or above then your photography skills are the issue. we can only base our assessments on that. believe it or not TPG's dont always get it right. based on your last set of photos, I would change my MS64 to MS65 but I would never pay 66 $$ for the coin regardless of the slab. I have one that looks very similar to yours and it came back as a 64 and I expected a 66 on that one.

If you can't post pics that show the coin as you see it in hand...then how can you expect a grade that is even accurate? You sure you don't sell on ebay? I see pics like this daily...usually to hide problems kn coins. Excited to see the results of the grading, I see chatter on the coin going by your pics. Also,, you attacked their grading skills because they didn't agree with you...and you didn't expect them to be "salty"?

I am not seeing how this is even close to a 67 , could be the photos but I am seeing quite a few contact marks and scratches. I could see it at a 64 if there are not to many hairlines .

I'd say MS-63 with a shot at 64. Why on earth do you think that's a 67?
