Congratulations!! I think the oldest nickels I have ever come across from the states are 1963, Canada I think 1947(though I have not looked through as many nickels and dimes) that definitely sounds like a nice jackpot to me. Can't wait to see your finds:) I love seeing American coins in my rolls, even modern.

Very nice finds! Especially the 1913!

Funny, I lived near the border a good deal of my early life life where Canadian and US coins mingle regularly. My Grandfather had laundromats so we went through a lot of change weekly. I filled all the holes in Whitman folders back then from 1936 up for Canadian pennies through quarters, but never found any Canadian coin older than that (well, OK one or two smooth-backed King George V quarters and dimes).

1915 Buffalo in the wild is quite a find anywhere. Once in a while you'll find one from the 1930s in a roll stateside, but rarely older. Must have been a small nickel collection turned in to the bank.

I think that whole roll was from a collection turned in or stole.
