Lovely 5 Quid from St. Helena's @Harryb4! Here's a couple from earlier threads: Guernsey 20 Quid (replacement): Belize $20 (last Twenty before they downsized their currency): And this $10 I picked up from New Zealand (P-172c) a couple weeks ago:

Here's another little guy I forgot, which came from a recent order. I actually was hoping to get the first "Phillips&Wheeler" signature combo (1974-1975 lasted 1 year & tough) but settled on the 2nd Knight&Wheeler signature combo (1976-1978): (note: this was the dealer's stock image & my note has the CCC prefix)

Most recent acquisition in the pursuit of Elizabethan notes. Printed by De la Rue for the (then) newly established Central Monetary Authority of Fiji. The portrait of Her Majesty would be familiar to many Canadians of a certain age as it was used for years on definitive stamps starting in 1967, the "Centennial Series".

Posted yesterday in "How Far Back Can We Go? - with banknotes" - a Bank of England £10 with the signature of JS Fforde, Chief Cashier from 1967-70: The £10 denomination was withdrawn during World War II to combat attempts by the Nazis to flood the UK with forgeries. It was not reintroduced until 1964. The first note, issued with the signature of JQ Hollom, would have had the serial number A01 000001. It shows how little this denomination was used that three years later the prefix was still on 'A'. As a kid I only once remember seeing one of these notes, and that was when my Dad deliberately got one from the bank to show me that they existed! Most people used 10/-, £1 and £5 notes in the 1960s. Things really changed with high inflation in the 1970s,

The £10 from St.Helena is a very nice ''get.'' Congrats.
And thanks for the information about the £10 note from the 1960s.
